Q4. How many mock exams for the SIA door supervisor take, “How many questions per mock exam and how many questions can you get wrong per mock exam? I took my SIA mock exam on the 17th of July I’m nervous as hell.” I enjoy your tests help a lot. Thanks.

There are 4 exams for the Door Supervisor, and here are the specifics for each:

  1. Working in the Private Security Industry – Total Questions: 72, Minimum Passing Score: 70%
  2.  Working as a Door Supervisor – Total Questions: 50, Minimum Passing Score: 70%
  3. Conflict Management for the Private Security Industry – Total Questions: 20, Minimum Passing Score: 70%
  4.  Physical Intervention for the Private Security Industry – Total Questions: 30, Minimum Passing Score: 80%

Documents Requirement for SIA Application

Q6. Thanks for the video sir. Do I need a bank statement along with a driving licence and passport Also I have different addresses on the bank statement & driving licence. Please reply. Regards. 

Certainly, You can use a bank statement along with your driver’s licence and passport. However, it’s important that the address on both the bank statement and the driver’s licence match, as these documents will serve as your proof of address.

  • For your SIA application, you need to provide specific documents to verify your identity and address. 
  • In Group A, accepted documents include a current and valid passport, UK driving licence photocard, original UK birth certificate, and more
  • In Group B, documents must show your current address and duplicates of the same type are not accepted. 
  • However, 1 document of a different type is accepted. Remember, photocopies or documents from the Internet are not acceptable.

Exam Results and Applying for Your Badge: What You Need to Know

Q10. Does anyone know if the exam results have a time limit? Such as can you leave the results sitting & not apply for a badge for a few months?

  1. Once you complete your course, the certificate remains valid for 3 years. Within this timeframe, you have the flexibility to apply for the licence whenever you choose, if the qualification requirements set by the SIA remain unchanged.
