What Do Door Supervisors Learn?

To give you a taste of what you will learn on your SIA Door Supervisor Course, we are giving you the full lesson for Unit 1 The Principles of Working in The Private Security Industry for free! 

The Door Supervisor course is a requirement to apply for an SIA Licence and work legally as a Security officer or a Door Supervisor. With a Door Supervisor licence, you can work in nightclubs, events, retail and corporate and earn up to £3,000 per month.

Get Your Door Supervisor Licence Now

To work as a Door Supervisor in the UK, you must obtain a Door Supervisor licence from the Security Industry Authority (SIA). To be eligible for a Door Supervisor licence, you must:

  1. Be at least 18 years old
  2. Have the right to work in the UK
  3. Have a criminal record check (also known as a DBS check)
  4. Complete a recognised Door Supervisor training course

Once you have completed the training course, you can apply for a Door Supervisor licence by submitting an application to the SIA. The SIA will review your application and, if approved, issue you with a Door Supervisor licence.
